Will Daywhere drain my battery?
No. It uses an adaptive mode: low-power sensors detect when you move and GPS only turns on to confirm the area. Roughly ~1% of battery per day, so you can keep it on all year without thinking about it.
Do I need to carry my phone at all times?
It is ideal for precise counting, but not required: you can add or correct stays by hand and attach proof for any day.
Is my location data private?
Yes. Your movements are stored encrypted and only you can see them. Geolocation requires your explicit consent and you can revoke it at any time.
Does the web work without the app?
The web is your big-screen dashboard: check your days, manage proof and generate reports. Automatic GPS counting lives in the mobile app, which we're finishing now — join the waitlist and you'll be among the first to try it.
Can I change my target country?
Yes, at any time from settings. Daywhere recalculates your days and thresholds with the new country's rule.
